About Me, Jo Shiva Prasad

In late 2016, I began my work with communities and startups with sexual misconduct; both prevention and after the fact, and to work directly with survivors as an advocate. I’ve worked with over a hundred survivors, strictly through word of mouth and without institutional support.

In late 2023, I began thinking through dedicating myself fully to rape prevention and feminist advocacy.

In March 2025, I started an intersectional feminist newsletter feminism for all built on my self-study of feminist theory and my years of activism and advocacy in stopping rape. Less than eight months later, that newsletter was a Substack bestseller. I gained up over 20,000 subscribers in over 180 countries during my first year of writing alone.

I worked two jobs since I was fifteen so that I could become the first person on either side of my family to graduate from college and I graduated from law school after that. I’ve worked with startups and venture capital while beginning my anti-rape work. If that matters to you, my educational background:
