I worked two jobs since I was fifteen so that I could become the first person on either side of my family to graduate from college and I graduated from law school after that.

In late 2016, I began my work with communities and startups with sexual misconduct (both prevention and after the fact), and to work directly with survivors as an advocate. I’ve worked with well over a hundred survivors, strictly through word of mouth and without institutional support. In late 2023, I began thinking through about to make anti-rape my full time work.

In March 2025, I started an intersectional feminist newsletter built on my self-study of feminist theory and my years of activism and advocacy in stopping rape. Less than eight months later, that newsletter was a Substack bestseller. I picked up over 30,000 subscribers in over 180 countries during my first year of writing.
